Looking Back

It was this month a two years ago that Ann and I took a road trip over Thanksgiving Weekend. We had so much fun together. We spent the long weekend with Melissa and her husband at their place in North Carolina.

One of the main things that Ann and I have in common is our undying love for the ocean and beach. It does not matter that our toes were frozen in the sand. By god, we were going to feel the waves rush over our feet!

Melissa had to work early one morning so Ann and I took off at the crack of dawn so that we could watch the sun rise over the beach. Later on during the day we went back with Melissa so we could take pictures.

It was JOYOUS!

Ah, the beach in the Autumn!

We weren't alone.

There were dolphins. I might have squeeed, clapped, jumped, and ran all at the same time, but nobody can say for certain.

Peace!

They are so lovely!!

I love looking back at photos over the years. It’s interesting to see how much the kids change, yet how much they stay the same. This was a great trip!
